In this episode of The Xanadu Review, I’m joined by James Benson Sarsgard. We talk history and get into the distinction between pop history and academic history, Graham Hancock and the ancient apocalypse theory, the surprising history of human genetics and the theory that human civilization is older than we previously believed.
Thanks for such a fun conversation! We should def revisit this one at some point down the road. I hope I didn’t stray too far off of the facts here, but in listening I did catch one small error I made-towards the end of the show I mentioned a podcast that discussed a prohibition on day time sex in the Rig Veda, I believe this was actually the Mahabharata, another ancient Indic text. My bad:) if I got anything else wrong yall can wring my neck about it no problem:)
